Here are the 15 books that BDS book clubs around the country requested the most in 2023. As in 2022, NZ authors make a strong showing — while around 19% of our total catalogue is NZ books, eight of the top 15 most-requested books for 2023 are by NZ authors. And the most requested book for 2023 was The Axeman's Carnival by Kiwi author, Catherine Chidgey — Ka rawe! Awesome!
