How do I join in Book Night, 22 May 2018?

It's so easy! Spend 15 minutes or more reading for fun during the evening. Then record your participation (between 5pm & midnight) on the Book Night interactive map and be in to win fabulous prizes. Include a message &/or digital photo (optional). So gather your whanau, friends, book group...or just curl up with your cat or dog... and get reading!

Watch the Book Night interactive map during the night, as it gets covered in readers' stars. See messages & pics appear from readers around the country.

Where can I join in?

Join in from home, the office, the bus or the train... or pop along to a community activity in your local area.
(In February, we will have an interactive map for event listings. Visit us again then!)

What can I read?

You can read a book, an e-book, an audio book (for the sight impaired), a comic or graphic novel... as long as you are reading for the pleasure of it!
