Auckland Writers Festival Road Trip

AWF Road Trip

*** UPDATE 16 March 2020 — AWF events have been cancelled to help stop the spread of COVID-19 ***

Join Festival Director Anne O'Brien at bookshops and libraries around NZ for a preview of the Auckland Writers Festival programme — and discover which books should be on your 2020 reading list.

“This Festival is not just for Auckland, it’s for all of us. Our event is a chance to come face-to-face with some of the world’s best writers and thinkers and we welcome people from all over the country to do that", says Anne.

The festival programme, released on Wednesday 11 March, will include: forty-one international writers; over 220 local writers, illustrators, poets, personalities and playwrights; over 200 events; and many, many wonderful books.

Join Anne for the programme preview at a location near you. Refreshments will be provided and at each event one lucky attendee will win a 10-ticket concession pass to the Festival 12 - 17 May.
