Library Reading Recommendations

If you're looking for your next in-between-book-club read, there's no better place to start than your local library.

Libraries are so much more than just a place to borrow books from: They're veritable community hubs where people to learn, gather and grow together. They're also a great resource for book recommendations, as demonstrated by these three popular Christchurch City Libraries Reading Genre Lists.

library1

Fiction

Science fiction, mystery, adventure and more — search Christchurch City Library's most highly-rated, new, and upcoming fiction titles.

library2

Non-fiction

Prefer a more factual read? Check out their list of Non-fiction titles, including histories, biographies, scientific reads and more.

library3

True Crime

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction — find true stories of murder, gangsters, investigations and the wrongfully imprisoned in the True Crime Reading Guide.
