We all thought Wuthering Heights was a great book, whether reading it for the 1st or the 3rd time. Christchurch 185

Most of us had read this before, but were pleased to revisit it. We found it difficult to believe that Heathcliff had anything lovable about him - he was, we considered, absolutely and relentlessly unpleasant. Nevertheless, for some of us with Yorkshire roots, it was great to read the descriptions of the countryside. We had a lively discussion about this book. Lower Hutt 004

Our group watched the movie 'Wuthering Heights' as part of the discussion, and found the details of the two houses, furnishings, costumes etc fascinating....another way to enrich the group's meeting. Greymouth 002
