Kirsty is an ex-BDS staff member who now reviews titles for the catalogue from her home in sunny Nelson. She is keen to start her own book group as both a way to continue to enjoy a wide variety of books, but also connect with people in her local area and make new friends.
Kirsty is a vociferous consumer and reviewer of BDS titles, but her tastes lean toward grittier, intense reads. She also loves descriptive, immersive writing, losing herself in the sights, sounds, and smells of unfamiliar countries, cultures, history and significant events.
