Someone Else's Shoes

Moyes, Jojo

  1 Reviews

If it wasn't for the mix-up over gym bags, Sam and Nisha would never have crossed paths. Sam is a suburban housewife balancing the woes of the world on her shoulders while Nisha is the wife of a very wealthy man, until suddenly, she isn't. Now all that stands between her and total desperation is a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes... shoes that were in the gym bag... shoes that her soon-to-be ex-husband will do anything to get hold of.

It is the sisterhood to the rescue, transforming their lives and ensuring that this story of friendship and starting over, is as satisfying as it is entertaining.

Slow start, worth persevering. Well developed characters. The theme of women supporting women came through the whole book. Loved the pun of the title as it related to living in other people's shoes.
